ORCHESTRAS AND CHOIRS
ORCHESTRAS AND CHOIRS
If you are interested in joining an orchestra, choir, brass band, Jazz ensemble or even musical theatre group, check out what's on offer through our National Youth Music Organisations - we call them NYMOs for short.
Who and what are the National Youth Music Organisations?
The NYMOs cover all kinds of musical genres from Western classical to South Asian classical, and contemporary Jazz to musical theatre. They bring together young people from across England and beyond, for advanced training and performance opportunities. Members get to go on residential courses, weekend workshops and perform concerts.
How do I get involved?
Find the NYMO that suits your musical talent and vist their website - you'll find links from their pages on this site. There may be a minimum Grade to pass if you are a musician and you may also need to audition for your place. You will also be able to find out information about funding bursaries that are available to you at their websites.
