IT'S 'LIGHTS OUT' FOR SANTOGOLD

New sounds from the golden lady of electro pop

‘Lights Out’ the new single from Santogold is due for release on August 11 and is the third single from her self-titled debut album. NME has compared ‘Lights Out’ to 80s new wave sound of bands like The Cars.

Santogold (aka Santi White) has been compared to MIA and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs and wants her music to “break down boundaries and genre classifications” by being a black woman not singing R&B or hip hop.

You can catch Santogold live on the following dates across the UK:

24 Aug 2008 20:00 Reading & Leeds festival - Leeds
29 Aug 2008 20:00 Surfstock Cornwall
