LADYHAWKE - MY DELIRIUM
New sounds from the electro pop girl set to make waves in 2009
My Delirium is the new single from electro pop singer/songwriter Ladyhawke (known as Pip Brown to her mum!)
Due out 8 December, 'My Delirium' is the fourth single from her debut, self-titled album. Heavily influenced by 80's music, the girl from small town New Zealand's musical style has been likened to that of Cyndi Lauper, Pat Benatar, Annie, and New Young Pony Club. The album has received rave reviews and has been bigged up by the likes of Courtney Love and Kylie!
She is currently rounding up a UK tour with a gig in Leeds and an XFM Christmas special in London before heading back to her neck of the woods for some gigs over the antipodean summer. Don't fret though...she'll be back in the UK early next year for a series of gigs with the Ting Tings - see all the dates below:
