WIN TICKETS TO UNDERAGE FESTIVAL

get your hands on a pair of tickets plus find out how you could be performing on our stage

Our Underage competition is well underway we've had loads of great entries but we want more and there is still time for you to enter to be in to win a slot on our stage at the Underage festival.  As 2009 is Youth Music's tenth birthday, we are celebrating the power of music to improve the lives of young people with our very own ‘Music Is Power’ stage at the Underage Festival – the world’s largest and best loved festival strictly for under 19s.  We are also giving you the chance to win two tickets to the festival!

We have 4 slots on the line-up to fill and we want to hear from YOU.  All you need to do is upload your demo to the website www.youthmusic.org.uk/underage and tell us how you would use the power of music to make a difference in your community and you could be sharing the Youth Music stage with supercool electro pop princess LadyHawke, Kissy Sell Out, Tommy Sparks and many more.

Deadline for entries is June 15, 2009. The demos will then be judged and short-listed acts will be invited to attend one of three regional auditions (London, Bristol and Manchester). The judging panel will consist of high profile industry experts from the BBC and NME.

The four best acts will be selected to play alongside the established artists and get to hang out backstage with the pro bands and participate in a festival film for the Youth Music website.
