SANTOGOLD - NEW SINGLE, NEW ALBUM AND A TOUR!
Fresh sounds from a new talent - watch out for this lady!
Santogold - known as Santi White to her friends - was lead singer of the Philadelphia-based post-punk/new wave band Stiffed, and has worked with the likes of Mark Ronson, Lily Allen and Ashlee Simpson as well as touring with M.I.A. and Björk. Her solo music has been described as anything from Alternative, Indie Rock, Dub, Electronic, New Wave to Punk and she has been compared to both the Pixies and M.I.A. Santogold herself says her inspiration comes from 1980's pop music.
Her self-titled debut album is out in the UK on May 12 and the first single - 'L.E.S. Artisites'' is out May 5. To coincide with the releases she kicks off her UK tour!
