FREE NATIONAL YOUTH JAZZ SUMMER SCHOOL CONCERT

Jazz Services and Youth Music invite you to a free National Youth Jazz summer school concert

LEEDS COLLEGE OF MUSIC
(Quarry Hill)
August 4, 2007
6-8pm

The event will kick off with an open seminar ‘A Day in the Life of A Young Jazz Musician’, 4-5pm.

Afterwards there will be performances by five sextets drawing from the pool of the summer school's 32 gifted and talented young jazz musicians in collaboration with the 10 tutors on the course.

The tutors will be offering top tips and practical advice to all young jazz musicians (and parents), looking for advice and support, including practice and rehearsal techniques.
