FRANZ FERDINAND ANNOUNCE DETAILS OF NEW DOUBLE A SIDE

FF recorded half of next single 'Fallen/L. Wells' in a day long session while on tour in Oz

This is the third release from their ‘You Could Have It So Much Better’ album, it will be in the shops on March 27.

New track 'L.Wells' was only recorded a couple of weeks ago in Melbourne Australia while the band were in the country as part of the Big Day Out Festival. They loved it so much they decided to give it a joint release along with the planned next single, ‘The Fallen’.

Singer Alex says: “Lynsey [Wells] is a girl we know from Glasgow. She's amazing, one of those people who can always put you in a good mood. There's something very whimsical about her, living her life like she's a character in a film. The song started when I was thinking about her red hair blowing in the winter wind. “

The band are currently on tour in South America where they are playing some headline shows as well as some support slots with U2. They are currently making plans for a UK tour in the early summer and have already been confirmed to appear at the T in The Park festival in Scotland in July.
